Neighborhood Associations & Neighborhood Meetings - The Grand Rapids Police Department held a series of meetings with Neighborhood Association leadership, as well as a series of Neighborhood Meetings, so that residents could have an opportunity for direct input.

Community Canvass- Professor Carl Taylor of Michigan State University's Institute for Children, Youth, and Famlies conducted a survey of the community to augment public comments at the Neighborhood meetings.
